Sermon: Turn and Live

I want us to look at this aspect of Ezekiel’s identity in more detail. In order to understand where the figure Ezekiel comes from and why God chose this man to fulfill such an important calling at such a vital time in Judah’s history, we need to go all the way back to God’s anointing of Aaron as the father of the royal priesthood in Israel.

Sermon: The Guilt of our Fathers

Ezekiel explains how theological heresy affected the speech of the people as manifested in this proverb: In trying to justify themselves, this generation lamented that they were being punished for the sins of their ancestors.

July 2015 Schedule

During the summer of 2015, Occidental Reformed will receive Adi Schlebusch as guest-preacher. Adi is currently busy working full-time on his his PhD in Theology in the Netherlands. He will lead us in public worship for the Sundays of 12, 19, 26 July as well as 2 August. During his stay, we will also be having a worldview class and discussion on the evening of Wednesday, 29 July. The theme of this session will be “Obeying God rather than man: Our Christian Mandate regarding resistance to Government Tyranny”
